ABLE has produced bespoke furniture and complete interiors from Vlorë, Albania since 1991. Today it is a 35,000 m² production campus with five manufacturing divisions, supplying hospitality, residential and commercial projects in more than twelve countries.
What has not changed in thirty-four years is that we make the things we sell. Design, engineering, manufacturing, finishing, logistics and installation all happen here. It is an unfashionable way to run a furniture company, and it is the entire reason clients come back.
The first workshop upholstered chairs and sofas for local families. In 1998 the operation was formalised under the name Able, and in 2003 the company was incorporated in the form it holds today.
The turning point was 2004, when we introduced CNC machining for precision woodwork. It was the beginning of industrial scale, and it changed what we could be asked for. In 2010 we signed our first international contract with a boutique hotel group in Italy, and the export journey began.
What followed was a decade of deciding, repeatedly, to bring work inside rather than send it out. In 2013 we established dedicated divisions for metalwork and casegoods, which made full-package hospitality and residential projects possible for the first time. In 2015 we formed our own research and design department. In 2019 marble, glass and ceramic finishing were integrated into production, and we began supporting large-scale hotel projects in France, Switzerland and North Africa.
In 2021 the factory was rebuilt around new European-grade machinery and the IMOS system, which connects design directly to manufacture. Every component is now resolved digitally before anything is cut. In 2023 the company took the name ABLE Be Modern, and in 2025 production capacity increased by roughly 35%.
A further 15,000 m² is under construction. When it opens, the campus will cover 50,000 m².
Five manufacturing divisions operating as one continuous process on a single campus. Upholstery and seating. Outdoor and aluminium. Casegoods and interior fit-out. Resin, metal and structural. Marble, glass and ceramic finishing.
Every component is engineered in IMOS before cutting, produced under one schedule, inspected against one standard, and delivered by one team.
Oversees upholstery production and development, including
bespoke and made-to-order units.
Fifty-seven pages on the campus, the divisions, capacity, certification and delivered work. Tell us who you are and we will send it.
