Lauren chaise is distinguished by a mix of aluminum frames, teak and stone for the table tops, seats with braided polyester cushions, and all of these materials are fully weatherproof.

The designer wanted to create a dense braiding that would still allow air to pass through, evoking the braiding of the ropes used to moor boats, making the pieces appear lightweight while also resembling cozy nests in natural colors to recline in.
